Chemist
The job duties:
Analysis of organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions, utilizing chromatography, spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry techniques. Prepare test solutions, reagents and ability to carry out reactions, to produce specialized ultra pure DNA/RNA synthesis products. Compile the test information for determination of process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions. Ability to follow protocols for research projects, and compile results of standard and nonstandard tests. Ability to work in team efforts to coordinate, and advise in test procedures for analyzing components and physical properties of materials. Write reports and follow the specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chem, Physics, Math or Biology or other related field with two years of experience. Familiarity with the specialized RNA phosphoramidites such as TOM ( triisopropyl oxy methyl) based ribonucleosides and phosphoramidites and/or 2'- Omethyl modified ribonucleoside and phosphoramidites.
Senior Chemist
The job duties:
Masters degree in Biology or equivalent and understanding the biology of DNA/ RNA synthesis products and to carry out DNA and RNA synthesis, besides chemical synthesis of ultra pure intermediates for DNA and RNA synthesis organic chemicals.
